Gabriel Missé

 

He was born on November 20, 1979, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Dancer, choreographer and teacher of Argentine Tango is recognized worldwide for his unique and authentic style.

Mr. Missé began his dance studies at the age of 4, with the best of National Folk dance, the school of Don Santiago Ayala "el chúcaro" and the renowned dancer and choreographer Norma Viola.

 

His training in tango was with the following teachers: Carlos Rivarola, Miguel Angel Zotto and Antonio Todaro.

In addition to having learned from the Great Milongueros in person ... such as Cachito Mantegaza, Finito, Petaca, Portalea, Jorge Dispari, El pibe Palermo, Puppi Castello, Aleman Tonet, El gitano Victor, Facundo Posadas, Lampazo, Toto, Turco Jose, Chino Perico , Pepito Avellaneda, Milonguita, among others.

 

He participated in shows and films with great artists and musicians such as Julian Plaza, Colangelo, Oscar Basil, Alberto Castillo, Roberto Goyeneche, Podesta, Mariano Mores, Armando Manzanero and in the tango shows Tango X2, Forever Tango, Tango dance, Show de Mariano Mores.

In 1997 he made his debut in the USA, New York at the City Center Theater with the company Tango X2.

For eleven years he was a jury for the Tango World Cups and Metropolitan Championships.

In 2015 he presented his own show directed and choreographed by him at the City Center Theater (New York).

For eight years he was summoned by dancer and choreographer Damian Woetzel for the Vail International Dance Festival (USA).

Filmed for the National Geographic Society (1991), for UCLA TV, TV Turkey, under the direction of producer Guñes Kakabuda (1994).

It was chosen by Donatella Versace for her Clothing Catalog.

I participate in the films Despabilate Amor (Eliseo Subiela), Desuérate Song and Asesination Tango (Robert Duval).

I perfected with Karina Romero the actor Liam Neeson for a scene from the movie "Deep Throat" 2017.

I participate in the NBC (National Broadcasting Company) to explain what tango is.

Mr. Misse is recognized by New York Time as the Baryshnikov of tango and has more than ten interviews conducted by this newspaper and by the New Yorker; Tango has its Barishnikov, Viva magazine (Diario Clarín) September 7, 2014.

In 2018 he formed a couple with the dancer Maru Rifourcat, since then they have traveled the world together conducting seminars, exhibitions and teaching the true Argentine Tango.

Maru Rifourcat

He was born on May 1, 1982, in the city of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Professional dancer, choreographer and dance teacher.

At the age of four, she took her first steps in dance at Monica Malnero's Dance School.

I study Ballet, Contemporary and Modern Jazz at the School of Classical Dance of the city of La Plata, Alicia Constantino Private School of Classical Dances, Acropolis School of Jazz Dance Monica Malnero and at the University of Art of the city of Buenos Aires (UNA) .

I participate in several National competitions such as the Buenos Aires Youth Tournaments with the Alicia Constantino School of Ballet  and Contemporary Dances, representing the City of La Plata and Latin America with the Monica Malnero school of Modern dance, obtaining first place in the group category (Ballet and Contemporary) as soloist (Modern Dance 2003).

Training with different masters of dance and theater throughout his career in Argentina such as:

Gustavo Carrizo, Elizabeth de Chaperouge, Salvador Molina, Natalia Farias, Noemi Romero, Viktor Filiminov, Renata Bertolotti, Gustavo Moro, Manuel Vallejos, Raul Serrano, Mariel Vignasco, Ricardo Bartis, etc.

In Argentina I worked as a professional dancer in different plays and television shows until 2009 as,

Cats' Night Teatro Coliseo Podesta 2001,

Diferente Lola Membrives Theater 2004 (Gerardo Sofovich)

More than Different Metropolitan Theater 2005, Corrientes Corner Glamor 2007, Un País de Revista 2006 with Maria Martha Serralima, Jorge Guinsburg, among others, with choreography by Gustavo Carrizo, Show Serrat Y Sabina En La Bombonera (2007), Cartoon Network 2007 / 2008 (Lola Membrives Theater) and Latin American tour, High School Musical (La Selección) Channel 13, Show Match (channel 13), Collar de esmeralda (channel 10); Los Roldan (channel 10), Diva Virtual (Don Omar), Patito Feo 2007 (television and show at the Planetarium), Palito Ortega at Luna Park, The man with a thousand voices (Martin Russo), among others.

 

From 2010 to 2014 in Europe I work as a dancer and Dance Capitan for WEP Production and for different cruise companies around the world.

In 2014 to 2017 in Italy, he created his own dance school, working with children, adolescents and adults with Classical and Jazz dance Sociedad Sportiva Athenea and Duende Dance Center (Italy)

He had the privilege of attending the Harmony school Ballet classes in Italy directed by Maestro Arnaldo Angellini and teacher Eugenia Avena.

In addition to approaching new techniques of modern dance thanks to the teacher Federica Musella.

 

On her trips to the USA to perfect herself as a dancer and teacher, she studied Horton at the Alvin Ailey and at the Broadway Dance Center Theater dance and Contemporary Jazz Dance.

 

In 2017 he met the teacher Gabriel Missé who taught and perfected him in the traditional tango.

In 2018 he formed a couple with the dancer Gabriel Missé, since then they travel the world together conducting seminars, exhibitions and teaching the true Argentine Tango.
